Court Advocacy

The Court Advocacy program offers free services to crime victims, witnesses and family members or friends of crime victims. While sometimes overlooked, personal attacks such as a burglary, identity theft and other “nonviolent” crimes can leave a lasting impression on the victim’s life. The Crime Victim Center of Erie strives to serve all victims – through counseling, court accompaniment, even just a gentle guiding hand through the court system.
If you’ve been the victim of any crime, please consider counseling and learn more about the court system. Family, friends and crime witnesses can also find out how the courts handle both juvenile and adult cases.
