Offender Release Notification

Under Pennsylvania law, you have the right to be notified of the release of an offender from a county correctional facility if you are a victim of a personal injury crime, including violation of any protection order issued as a result of domestic violence. Notification includes the offender’s release on work release, furlough, parole or community service placement and immediate notification of the escape of the offender. This includes release from a boot camp.

Enroll by Phone or Register Online

To be notified of the release of an offender from the Erie County Prison, call 1-866-972-7284, or visit www.pacrimevictims.org to register with PA SAVIN. PA SAVIN is an automated information and notification service.

This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day. Victims and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, e-mail or TTY device when an offender's custody status changes.

To be notified of offenders released from Pennsylvania state prisons, contact the Pennsylvania Office of the Victim Advocate at 1-800-322-4472 to register in that program.

If you have any questions, or would like to enroll in the program, contact any victim advocate at (814) 455-9515.
