PCCD Honors Local Supporters

November 24, 2009 | News and Events, Press Releases

Each year the PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency accepts local nominations for Certificates of Merit or Certificates of Achievement. The awards recognize individuals or groups for their efforts to enhance crime prevention, increase awareness and/or support of victim services in the community. The Crime Victim Center of Erie County, Inc. is pleased to announce that Scott McFeely, a Crime Victim Center Board member and employee of Regal Service Company was awarded a Certificate of Merit. Eriez Magnetics and Regal Service Company have been awarded Certificates of Achievement. All three recipients were honored for their multi-year support of the agency, its mission and programs.

Scott McFeely along with representatives from Eriez and Regal Services were presented with their certificates during an Award Ceremony on November 4, 2009 held at the Crime Victim Center. Crime Victim Center staff, Board members and Assistant District Attorney Beth Hirz were on hand to acknowledge the recipients.

All have been instrumental in furthering the mission of the Center - “reducing the impact of crime through counseling, education and advocacy” – through their efforts.
