Men Against Sexual Violence (MASV)
Men Against Sexual Violence, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, is a forum designed to engage males in actively working together with women to eliminate sexual violence. MASV will ask men to personally pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about sexual violence, and to use their resources to support change.
Ending sexual violence means raising men’s awareness and actively challenging them to examine what it means to be masculine. In order to successfully change societal attitudes, rape can no longer be seen as solely a “women’s issue” but an issue that affects both sexes. Men and women together have the power to collectively end rape.
