Other statistics
Of the sexual assault victims:
- 117 were children 5 years old and younger
- 132 were children 6 to 11 years old
- 18 percent of sexual assault victims are male
Other crimes impacted:
- 287 people under the age of 17
- 2,579 people between the ages of 25-54
- 44 percent of those victims were male
Other facts:
- 63% of the sexual assault victims were children; 42% were under the age of 12.
- 640 prevention/education programs presented to 20,059 students (programs on sexual abuse, sexual harassment, internet safety, bullying, and date rape).
- $295,954 in Crime Victim’s Compensation for 224 claims.
